Re: Bike Ride (with engines)

Nice to meet you guys and gals,

It might be possible to get one in before the weather turns - maybe start later (10:30ish) and have lunch somewhere?

Could maybe do something on the 23rd?

It was today, right? I hope it went well and I'll watch this space from now on. I'm another 'returned biker'.

Re: Bike Ride (with engines) - video

Here is a video I made last year in November of the first part of the ride we did on Sunday (note: I believe the choice of music was apt and self depricating) ...

Re: Bike Ride (with engines)

I also had a really great time!! It was great getting to know you all. I would love to go for another ride. Starting a bit later and having lunch somewhere on an alp (maybe?) sounds good. Next time I'll dress a bit warmer though. Brrrrrr!! :-)

I may be able to make it on the 23rd. I would only know on Saturday though.

Thank you SwissBob for organizing the ride!

Couldn't watch the video for some reason. Doh!

Could maybe do something on the 23rd?
Hello All,

I am writing on behalf of me and my partner and wondering if we could maybe join in on a ride out - we are new to the forum but not new to Switz, I have been here 8 years and my partner 5 years, we are both Brits.
We could make the 23rd. We live in the Berner Oberland, but may be able to make a weekend of it if you are heading north from ZH area. My partner (Mike) rides a BMW 1200 GS and I (Angie) ride a little GS (I guess I will catch you up at the coffee stops )

Gruss
Angie and Mike

Re: Bike Ride (with engines)

Hi Angie,

Don't worry about keeping up. You and I can bring up the rear at our own pace. I have a GSX-750 and am not exactly what you'd call speedy! I managed OK though. Everybody was really nice about waiting a bit for me. :-)

Cheers,
Maya
