Good idea, but sorry another time! We are going on holiday early the next day.

As it's a relatively small place, perhaps it's easier to simply write EF on a half-folded sheet of paper and place it on the table, and avoid having to ask at the bar. Also, most of the parking surrounding the Altstadt is free after 7 pm, though it's sometimes harder to find a spot closer to the river.

At that time of the evening, I highly doubt you will be able to get a table, although it is worth a try. Sometimes it happens. If not we can always perch on the wall outside with a drink and natter, the weather is quite nice today, so it should hold out will this evening hopefully! See you all later.

Thanks for coming out all, it was nice for me to be able to socialize with some cool people. We will have to do it again soon!

Seems like all is quiet in Solothurn during the summer. After work drinks or some other ideas?

I lied... There's an open air Summer-nights-fest down on the river on Saturday, July 30th, starting at 6:00 pm with live music until 11:00 and then a night club open until 3:00 am for the kids. That's well past my bedtime! I won't know until the week before whether I'm working that night or not, but if others want to go, it may be worth checking out.
