I assume from your struck out text that "toast" is rhymming slang....

So, I stumble upon this thread to discover a pile-on taking place involving a young person and several disreputable gentlemen of a certain age.

Why wasn't I informed of this beforehand?
Perhaps because just being disreputable doesn't cut it?

Doesn't matter how much alcohol you put in it. It's still a girly drink. Don't forget the little umbrellas and fruit wedges!

One of the bars in the Neustadt in Dresden once served me and my three male friends 4 beers... but mine had a physalis and a little umbrela... I quite enjoyed it I must confess...

Well this disaster of a thread was useful after all. I often get these things on my pudding and had no idea what they're called.

Oh dear, I thought this was supposed to be an innocent image to provoke a nasty thought. Learned something too.

RobM has no particular reputation at present
Re: 'youngsters' drink up!

I'm keen (also 22, English and a man).

FYI:

Over 30 = ancient.

Over 35 = antediluvian.

Re: 'youngsters' drink up!

This thread makes me think of this song, more specifically, this version of this song.

Meanwhile, I can remember being 22 and being a tad peeved to learn that there were clubs (in Chicago area) that didn't allow anyone under 25 but yet "we" had to put up with the oldsters all the time.

Go youngins, have your fun! These days, "bragging" about how much I can drink doesn't fit my idea of fun. I guess that's proof enough that I'm old.
