Event Type: Coffee/Chat
Meeting Point: All Bar One, Steinenvorstadt 37

Hi all,

So sorry for taking so long to get this up!

Because I wasn't at the last meeting I don't know whether or not you discussed dates already. I've picked the second Wednesday in July, for no particular reason - so please RSVP whether or not you can make it, and I can change it if necessary.

Looking forward to this month; Escape is one of those books that I find so shocking I can read over and over again - I'm interested to see what you all thought of it.

And we're running out of books on our list so perhaps we could have a chat about that - feel free to bring along any favourites.

As always, newcomers welcome, even if you haven't read the book!

The book list:
July: Escape by Carolyn Jessop
August: SUMMER BREAK (you'll need this extra time to read the next one!)
September: Shantaram by Gregory David Rober
RSVP'd Yes: 7 (7 members and No guests)
  • MissMelbourne
  • Piafia - I think I've got nothing else that evening:-)
  • roxane - Thanks for posting! fits in perfectly for me (am also looking forward to hearing what you all say about this one....)
  • rachel10
  • solaris - Could someone borrow me this book ?
  • Wahine - Finally, I think I can make it. Sorry solaris I have already given the book away.
  • bluemoose - Did I miss the last one for Black Mamba Boy? One I'm reading now is "Don't Let's Go to the Dogs Tonight" by Alexandra Fuller about her childhood growing up in Rhodesia in the 1970s/80s. Interesting writing style and perspective.
RSVP'd No: 1
  • Ammodytes - Boo...unable to make wednesdays, have a great summer and see you in Sept with your inspirational recommendations.
RSVP sign-ups for this event are now closed.
