The Quest for a 6-Piece (KFC) VIII
Calendar: Social Events

06.08.2011 20:30 to 23:30
*The times shown may change, depending on DST settings
City/Town: Müllhaus (France)
Event Type: Other
Meeting Point: To be decided

I have decided to take it upon myself to organise the next KFC run. It shall be a run away success and I will not flounce my own event.

Meeting place can be decided. I understand it's difficult for some to come into the mighty Basel in their cars so we could meet at the KFC itself.

The rules created by our previous fearless leader will apply (i.e. no farting yada yada yada)

Looking forward to seeing lots of chicken lovers.

Please indicate if you have a car and how many people you will be willing to transport in said car.

Event is ramadhan friendly. Chicken is halal!

Everyone pretty much gets what they want. Not a lot of talking goes on while eating though....silent respect to the chicken.

I just know that ITV has got me very interested in crunchy, crispy chicken.
Yeap, damn ITV and their KFC adverts. This week's quest cant come fast enough!

So diet on hold for this Sat then?

Which reminds me: the street parade is on this Sat. Lots of roads around the Bellevue area will be closed. Does anyone know where I can check which roads in Zurich are closed specifically?

Isn't the street parade next weekend (13 August) - I remember as Wolli was worried about it clashing with GG's cheese and beer tasting event.

Re: The Quest for a 6-Piece (KFC) VIII

ok KFC veterans. what's the best way of maximising the amount of KFC you can eat? i guess you shouldn't go on an empty stomach, but also i don't want to overfill my stomach and use up KFC space.

what's the optimal pre-eating schedule?

This is a rather unique situation. Usually we arrive at about 2pm. So I have a glass of juice before I get the train to Basel and I can manage 2 Zinger tower and usually steal a few of my wife's crispy tenders.

Have a hearty breakfast. Skip lunch and go there super hungry.

Eat a zinger meal there or two, with some hotwings. Buy a bucket of chicken back and freeze and reheat in the oven whenever craving strikes. Make sure to ration till next quest.

God, the cars are going to stink arent they!

Taking loads away and realising that, for some reason, it tastes absolutely wonderful zapped in a microwave for 30 seconds, for breakfast. Plus, being full of preservatives and other non-chickeny stuff, it keeps for ages.

Bugger! Mimi made me throw mine away after three days on the worktop.

Said summat about having salmon in it or something.
