The Quest for a 6-Piece (KFC) VIII
Calendar: Social Events

06.08.2011 20:30 to 23:30
*The times shown may change, depending on DST settings
City/Town: Müllhaus (France)
Event Type: Other
Meeting Point: To be decided

I have decided to take it upon myself to organise the next KFC run. It shall be a run away success and I will not flounce my own event.

Meeting place can be decided. I understand it's difficult for some to come into the mighty Basel in their cars so we could meet at the KFC itself.

The rules created by our previous fearless leader will apply (i.e. no farting yada yada yada)

Looking forward to seeing lots of chicken lovers.

Please indicate if you have a car and how many people you will be willing to transport in said car.

Event is ramadhan friendly. Chicken is halal!

Re: The Quest for a 6-Piece (KFC) VIII

That must sound like a joke, and actualy is not... I am in London at present, and I have been around some KFC and I was very tempted to get inside and allow to be mesmerized -as you guys seem to be- with their food offering. But then, looking around, I find so many other great options for lunch, dinner or quick bite in UK, that I say pass again...

Not aiming to offend anyone, I can understand the getting together of the group with the objective of going somewhere must be great fun, but still don't get what is so good about KFC.

Could you share it with me so I won't have any doubt next time? Sorry, I didn't go through the thousands of post available about KFC in the forum, should I?

Thanks

Try and stuff you family's belly for 30CHF in such great company in Zurich...

The KFC there , imho, is far better than the rubbish I had in Essex.

See that's part of it,in London you have the choice. We have plenty of expensive, nice restaurants in Zurich, but sometimes you just need good old KFC, which is not available.

So combine that with an opportunity to meet up with EF friends, travel to France and enjoy that fine Colonel's coating at a fraction of the price and there you have it.

Back in the UK it wouldn't have been my first choice of fast food either, but here what you can't get, you want

See when you say tall that implies me...since I'm pretty sure I was the tallest one there...

But in reality...let's not beat about the 'bush'....it was Kittster
