The Quest for a 6-Piece (KFC) VIII

I have decided to take it upon myself to organise the next KFC run. It shall be a run away success and I will not flounce my own event.

Meeting place can be decided. I understand it's difficult for some to come into the mighty Basel in their cars so we could meet at the KFC itself.

The rules created by our previous fearless leader will apply (i.e. no farting yada yada yada)

Looking forward to seeing lots of chicken lovers.

Please indicate if you have a car and how many people you will be willing to transport in said car.

Event is ramadhan friendly. Chicken is halal!
RSVP'd Yes: 20 (15 members and 5 guests)
  • summerrain + 1 guest - and two kids: economisto and porschie from Zürich (car full)
  • dmay + 1 guest - Have room in the car...
  • ximix - Riding the groove with Ms Meisie :-)
  • Justsquirrel
  • Meisie + 1 guest - iSha, Ouch, Phil and Justsquirrel are joining moi. Car is now full.
  • Peg A + 1 guest - dmay and wife to the rescue, hubby and I are in! :)
  • Ouchboy - I did it for the lulz...... I got a ride with Meisie.... late eating it is :D
  • Bumble-Bee - would love to,, have to check with work first,, hope im off that weekend..
  • Kittster - The only money I still have is train fare and Euros, so this sounds like a plan. Plus I want to see Ouchboy before he goes Big in Japan and I've only had KFC twice in my life before. Getting a lift with big yin, yay!
  • Phil_MCR - soooooooo hungry. how much KFC can you buy for 50 euros?
  • prof. taratonga - yeah, in the Catmobil with bigyin
  • big yin + 1 guest - Kittster and Prof Taratonga are joining me and <guest>.
  • zymogen - + 1 guest, bumble bee and thomaslausanne; car is full
  • ThomasLausanne - Going with zymogen
  • Upthehatters2008

It's usual time for them to be down at the river by now, he's probably surrounded by grill smoke and a bevvy of beautiful beer. I'm sure he'll answer later tonight or tomorrow though.


Hubby and I (he's actually on vacation then!!) would like to join, if anyone swinging through / past Basel has space for two in their car.

Sorry Porsch... All of a sudden I got like 10 people in my house.... Just opened the door and came in...

Hope you get your place (you might have to train it to Basel first though). It's always a treat to meet a new EFer (especially one with such a refined palate).

You guys can eat whenever. I think the fast breaking time is about 9pm at that time though, so I'd wait until then.

I wouldn't want to starve everyone else because I'm a sadist

Me grabbing lots of take outs is best case....waking up at 4am and munching on KFC....lots of slow release carbs in KFC right?

I believe that has come up before and the answer (if I remember right) is that yes, they do, at least the ones in France do.
