Lit a candle and had 5 minutes silence for a young lady I have never met, but who has touched my heart. RIP Begga.

I knew with a 4yr. old in the house, it would be difficult to have a full 5mins. of silence, but at least as the clock struck 9** I did have a moment of quiet reflection to someone I never knew, but touched many - before my daughter insisted on asking things that just had to answered right then. ** the strange thing was, that the chiming mechanism of our clock had long since run down and has not been re-wound - the last time it chimed was at least yesterday - and then at 9 this morning the spring found nine more chimes - which re-alerted me to this moment of unified reverence.

I did not know Begga, and have not been very active on the forum but as I live Switzerland today , I did join my thoughts with all of you this morning. It is a special day for me and my family and even more so for this such caring on line community , a forum through which I met my best friend here in Switzerland. RIP Begga.

Umbria lay down beside me quietly for 10 minutes - she seemed to know it was something serious and only nosed my hand gently twice. Travel well, Begga - Teckla will rejoin you when the time comes.
