@Prof. T
I hope your friend from P-Train is gonna make that lovely sweet tea again? Man, the whole ceremony behind that is awesome. Worth coming along just to watch and take part in that alone.
I'm still chuckling about the look of feigned annoyance on his face when I refused more after downing like the 4th or 5th cuppa. Will make sure there's plenty of room for as many cups as he makes this time. After all, 50% of me comes from two tea loving nations. As for the other 50%, well... | This user would like to thank ximix for this useful post:

Not sure yet. Takes some hours and maybe he would need some assistance.

Well, the Rheinfall is WEST of Schaffhausen, while Stein-am-Rhein (Schtaa-am-Riii) is "far" east of the "Capital" And do NOT bring Hallauer Wein with you as Schtaa is proud of its wines |

There is some space for tents and a little room where it's also ok to sleep.
Traveltime by train from Zürich is 1hour 20min.
There are Nighttrains back to Zürich at 00.33 / 02.30 / 3.33

I might bake something sweet to bring along. I can also make some homemade mac&cheese for the kids though will there be a way I can warm it up once there? And if I can get the other half to drive, I might bring along a few bottles of wine to share. | This user would like to thank poptart for this useful post:

Wine would be good as we will just buy soft drinks and beer.
Trying to get a DJ for that date.
@Tractor Queen: We will have at least one old guitar and some drums and other stuff.

Asking the maybes to change status til Thursday. Thanks.
We will have a DJ with a wide range of music (also Electronic, Rock). It is possible
to bring your own Ipod/Iphone if you want to put on your music.

Looks like Saturday will be a hot and sunny day.
You can swim down the Rhine with the bigger kids.
We decided to bring the tablesoccer table to the spot for some
additional action and trash talking.

I'm a grumpy Swiss. Would I therefore be allowed to throw the kids into the river if they're too noisy?
