I should really post here about the expats nights in Luzern, they've been running for a while. A local expat has been partnering with Bruch Brothers on Baselstrasse and has been trying to organise an expat night every thursday.

There's one on tonight, I think there's a special on beer if you turn up in the first hour, starting 8pm.

It's planned to be a weekly event, but attendance is mixed.... sometimes quiet, sometimes busy, so we need more people interested.

Musicians and DJs, they plan to have live bands, jam sessions and open mic nights. If you're interested, see if you can find Mike (The organiser) at the event, or ask the staff.

I think there's a summer break coming up, I'll check with mike and let you all know when it won't be on, otherwise assume every thursday.

I think he advertises the event via the Lucerne & Central Switzerland Expats group on facebook, so if you're on FB and in the Luzern area, join that, they also organise day trips hiking, climbing and so on.

I tried to get the organiser to post here, but he's not a member AFAIK.

Well, these are going again, tonight there's a band playing, "From the Lamp", featuring local expat musicians. Should be a good one.

Bruch Brothers is on Baselstrasse, just a few doors down from the Metzgerhalle bar at Kasernenplatz.
