We have a group email somewhere, swissbikers@googlegroups.com, which English Bob looks after, and most of us also follow the events on FB, EFswissbikers group page.

We should have rides most weekends between now and October, maybe longer depending on weather. Look forward to seeing you on one of them.

I'm off to Italy this weekend for 2 weeks R&R. A pity, because the Gotthard pass is on my motorcycle ride wishlist!

I'll meet up at the My Stop on the new autobahn direction Luzern at around 2130.

I will keep checking here and FB If any thing changes come about regarding the meeting time & place.

Meeting point may change to our usual at Würenlos services heading towards south, which may also work for you. Keep an eye on FB, we are jsut figuring out if anyone is coming from east of Zurich that would require a meet at the My Stop. If not, we'll prob just move it to Würenlos. We can also meet at both :-)

Thanks. I'll be comming from Luzern so Würenlos services is quite a trip in the wrong direction. The my stop is a little back but I guessed that we would most likely travel down the A4 past Schwyz through to the A2.

Let me know where you think would be best?

Do you have a route suggestion that we will be riding along to the pass?

Question: The plan is to return after going aover the pass or are some ppl staying over?

My plan would be to return as I have some plans for Sunday morning.

We are all returnig home, so will probably do the tunnel for return, unless we have real fun doing the pass first time :-)

Looks like we will have 2 meet points, Würenlos for me, Jorn and Ricardo, then My Stop for Colin. Not sure where Chris R is meeting, but one of the points. We have a rough route worked out, but it's fairly simple to get to the Gotthard pass.

Will post up meet times tomorrow, but think Ric is meeting Jorn at his place, so probably Würenlos about 2030 to be safe as I only finish work at 1900. Will work times out for My Stop at work and post, but it's about 30-40 mins from Würenlos, so just after 2100 is my guess.

As for return, yes I was thinking tunnel or maybe just going back the way we came up. There is an autobahn gasstation between Altdorf and Gotthard. Should get us there and back.
