City/Town: Basel
Event Type: Sports
Meeting Point: Basel - Rheinfelden

Hi,

with hopes of good weather, and easy work schedule, let's have a easy after-work cycling event along Rhine from Basel to Rheinfelden.

The route is 16km in one direction, mostly flat. This should allow for easy cycling. Tempo will be easy, so don't worry if you are not exactly Tour-de-France material.

Route:
  • Departure from Wettsteinplatz at 17h
  • Basel-Rheinfelden (along the Rhein)
  • coffee/drink break in Rheinfelden
  • return along the other side of Rhein (German side), via Grenzach
  • Return to Basel about 20h-20>30h (hopefully)
Route:

Cheers!

  • Meeyat + 1 guest - and hope for good weather!
  • biff - Sure. That's a nice, relaxed summer evening ride.
  • adrianlondon - I'll skive off work early, umm I mean work hard to accumulate some flexitime, and join. I'll probably be turning up with Biff.
RSVP'd No: 1
  • MathNut - too far from Glarus - but sounds like a cool event, have fun!
RSVP sign-ups for this event are now closed.

When do you end? If you are on the way (or almost on the way) we can detour and pick you along...
