Sorry to disappoint, but I won't be bringing my horn (you know, the one that's not on my shoulder). If you have a hunting horn hanging on the wall, I might give it a parp, if you want.

We won't be coming as our little one has been up all night with high fever.

I am really disappointed about missing this event as I have been told that the area is beautiful. Have a nice time...

Sorry guys but we won't be able to make it either. OH has been up in the night with some kind of gut bug and we don't want to risk infecting you all. He's blaming airline food but we can't be sure what it is.

Plus I don't think he'd appreciate it if we left him here by himself.

He is a man after all and he's convinced he's dying cos he feels so rough.

Thank you Odile for being such a super hostess, and we had a lovely time meeting many new friends!

I especially enjoyed the walk, I think even Porch1909 would have liked that one!

Really enjoyed having you around- and glad the weather sort of held out.
We tied the bin and put it away, and flies just vanished
Hope all got home safely- can't wait for the next do near Morat- and hope those who couldn't make it due to being poorly will be with us next time.

Re: Val-de-Travers walk 'n' munch

Thank you so much for hosting and sorry about the dodgy fish. Good news is that the prawns have seemingly only caused an alarming smell rather than anything more worrying happening (good thing for him that the OH is away).

Was thinking of asking the OH if he would do a nature walk with us where he could talk about insects and plants etc, but he's such a busy boy he may not be able to find the time. I'll ask when he gets back.

Looking forward to the next one!

Ahahah - yes I think it was good that you didn't eat it! Wow!

If you ever want to do a mushrooms and wildlife foray, I'll be happy to take you.

Massive storm now - massive lightning and house shaking with thunder. Gatsby is trying to get into my jumper and there is definitely NO space after all this food.

The bus driver must have had a few nightmares about those last night

Thank you Odile for making us feel welcome in your wonderful home, and for a nice day in you backyard, your cooking and cleaning up. It was well worth the trip to meet you and the other EF members. Till next time. Cheers Kev & co.
