(Zurich) Games evening

Is anyone interested in an evening of playing games? We already do this occasionally with some of my wife's friends, playing such things as "Die Siedler" ("Settlers of Catan") and other "German-style" board games, Illuminati, and so on. If anyone here is interested then please reply and I will be sure to publish the next event here.

I'd be interested. I've organised and hosted game nights in Zurich and Schaffhausen.

The Schaffhausen ones tend to be more complex games: Descent, Through the Ages (but also Monopoly city, risk etc.).

Also play Settlers of Catan and would like to try Illuminati.

Re: (Zurich) Games evening

Great I think the more complex games you mentioned would happily fit some of the people, and others not, but that's absolutely okay, since we tend to be more than can comfortably play only one game at a time anyway (so we tend to split into two or more smaller groups, changing games and groups as we want).

I'd be interested in this too. I've played Settlers of Catan and am always open to learning new games.

Re: (Zurich) Games evening

it was my first time playing through the ages (anyone who's played civilization on the PC will find it familiar) and it seems to be an excellent game. would recommend!

Also a big Catan fan here (although Phil_MCR schooled me at Cities and Knights a couple weeks back :P ).

I would be very interested in learning and playing Traders and Barbarians--sounds like a hot ticket.

Wow! There are more of us crazies than I thought

I'm currently trying to set up our next evening and waiting on one person specifically (because it will be her last one, since she's leaving the country), so once I hear back from her as to when she could make it, I'll get it set up and let everyone know.

Re: (Zurich) Games evening

Okay, I've created an event for this. Just a one-off at first, and we'll see how we go from there.
