Yes, there is a rugby (union) club in Zürich as well!
Rugby Club Zürich (
http://rugbyzurich.ch) is one of the oldest rugby clubs in Switzerland. It is located in the city of Zürich and is a good example for the international flavour of this city. People from all over the world meet in the club and build a strong community. The club currently fields five teams, 2 mens, 1 golden oldies, 1 womens and a juniors team.
The new 2006/2007 season is only two days away from kicking off. Zürich’s big forward pack welcome newly promoted CERN for a 14:00 kick off on Sunday. The game will be played at the Allmend Brunau, at the foot of the Üetliberg, right next to the Saalsporthalle:

Come along for a beer and meet heaps of English speaking people (and a few French and Argentinians - and maybe the odd Swiss)! If you feel like playing yourself, training sessions take place twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18:30 until 20:00 on the same ground. You are most welcome to join in, no matter what level you play at. At RC Zurich, the social side of things is just as important as the on-field action.
It would be great to see a few of you at the Allmend Brunau on Sunday. We can do with some support! Thanks!
