Thanks for organising another day in the great outdoors of CH.
This is indeed one of the all time favourite hikes with a fantastic view. I can only encourage folks to show up and see for themselves.
See you Sunday in Schlattli.

This narrowly wins over having lunch with my mother-in-law which was the other option for Sunday. | The following 3 users would like to thank Tom1234 for this useful post:

No clothing recommendations this weekend gang. Wear whatever makes you happy, just cover up any dangly bits p-lease!
Checking out the stunning mountains right now annoys me intensely that we didn't schedule this one for Saturday; looks like we have a cold front approaching Sunday afternoon. Enjoy the sun today folks, we might not get quite as much tomorrow.

Hello Assassin and the whole hiking gang,
It was a wonderful hike and it was great meeting up with all of you. Despite being chased by mad cows, bowing in reverence at every alpine cross, being forced to say Gruezi to every passerby, being blown to bits by the Föhn and walking barefoot through thistle-covered meadows, I had a lovely time. Truly an amazing hike with amazing people. | This user would like to thank olygirl for this useful post:

Big thanks to Assassin for organising and keeping us on our toes with his and Tom's non-stop wit!
It was great to meet some more like-minded people and I definitely look forward to joining up with you again. Those views were just awesome - this is a must-do hike for sure. Assassin - thanks for organising. A very pleasant hike with impeccable timing - the rain started on the way down when we were inside the funicular.
Things I learnt today:
1. You don't need expensive Vibram V5s for barefoot hiking - bare feet alone will suffice.
2. Bare-foot hiking makes your feet very, very dirty.
3. Not all trains that stop at Arth-Goldau on route to Zurich HBf stop at Thalwil as well - some go straight to Zurich. |
