Hi guys,
Sorry for not making it yesterday - I really wasn't feeling well enough.
Hope the tennis went well though & hope to see a few of you next weekend...

Salsa...
If you are in Wollerau, you should look at the tennis clubs in nearby Wädenswil.
Outdoor: http://www.tc-waedenswil.ch/ http://www.zueriseetennis.ch/
Indoor: http://www.tennishalle-waedenswil.ch/
I play regularly at the indoor club and would like to play more. Anyone interested in playing at 9pm weekdays (that is when courts are available) or weekends, let me know.
USTA 4.0
Swiss 6.5

Hello turtonjs
Thanks for the info.
I am maybe a level 2.5-3.0 so I could be to low for you.
I will start playing as an sparring partner in Bürhle for a beginner guy that is taking lessons there, every friday at 8am, It will cost me nothing and I am happy that I got the opportunity, but I see that is not that practical as is on the opposite direction to go to work. Let's see how this evolves.
How are the prices in Wädenswil ?
I would like to organise a tennis hour this saturday at the Schlieren tennis club.
If there are at least 4 people interest we can make it happen.

I notice this is a very old thread, but I've recently arrived in Zurich and would love to play. I'm ok, used to be a lot better, and up for a hit. Nothing too serious, but a bit of base line bashing!

Does anyone know if you can hire rackets at Mythenquai (and balls for that matter) or do you need to take your own ?
Are the courts prebookable or is it first come first served |

They have several Babolats you can rent, probably more than 20 rackets. I do not remember the price but I think it was quite cheap, 5-10 francs I think.
You can book courts in advance. Actually it is a must if you want to find a court over the weekend. Note that they do not speak english.

Hello,
I recently moved here and am living near Pfäffikon. So I was wondering if anyone would be up for playing with me at http://www.tennishalle-waedenswil.ch/ any time after 15:00? I'm about 3.5-4.0 (USTA) level. I'm also up for playing at other courts and am curious if English Forum ever organized anything for tennis?

Im also a USTA 3.5-4.0 but live near Oerlikon so don't know if that works for you logistically. Free to play in the evenings in general.
