Drinking till I pass out is neither positively crazy nor my style. Been there, done it, 15 years ago. I find it revolting nowadays.

But each to their own.

15 years ago? Tsk, tsk. I was far too sensible at that age to do something so silly.

Re: Get totally, and absolutely smashed social event (GTAASSE)

perhaps try 1 week later, since most people probably wont want to risk a hard hangover when Halloween celebrations are the next day...

Well, thankfully the day after Halloween is a holiday here!

Would you mind doing it outside Switzerland please. England would be the best place if you are seeking comp'anionship.

Halloween weekend, dude. Have much better things to do. Like run around Zurich naked. And dance with Swiss girls who then go back to their boring boyfriends at the end of the night.

participants will not be permitted to leave the event before the official end time unless they have done of the following:

- Thrown up
- Fallen unconscious
- Engaged in lewd behaviour with somebody totally inappropriate and is leaving solely and expressly for the purposes of fornicating with said person
- Have been in a fight or done one of the above activities and as a result, need to go to hospital
I can do all that without getting drunk. Since I'm pregnant, throwing up from morning sickness is easy. Unconscious? Easier still as I faint a fair bit. Lewd behavior..well we all know how frisky pregnant women are. My husband has some tattoos - is that badarse enough to qualify him as "totally inappropriate?"

Question about the last point though - can I put someone else in the hospital instead? Baby's kicking quite a bit lately, ninja-style, so the odds are high on me just leaning against someone and knocking them out.

Re: Get totally, and absolutely smashed social event (GTAASSE)

Sounds like a plan, and ordinarily I might be tempted, but I had a monstrous hangover on Saturday and that was without trying on Friday (pizza and a couple (few - perhaps more) of beers - OK did start with an 'apero' at work, but still...). No throwing up, or any other bad things though.

God I'm getting old.

Oh, and the points listed are not the aims of the evening, but rather permitted reasons to leave the event early

Funnily enough, this seems to happen to me whenever I do get smashed out of my tiny brain.

Can't do the posted weekend, however would certainly be up for it in the future!
