19.03.2012 19:00 to 22:00
*The times shown may change, depending on DST settings
City/Town: Neuchatel
Event Type: Other
Meeting Point: I will PM my address

If you enjoy food and reading, then this is the event for you.

Please bring something nibbly (dessert/appetizer - or for the culinarily challenged a drink) to share and any english books that you are ready to part with. Children are welcome too though I don't have things to entertain them with. Hopefully we'll have some good chats and leave with happy bellies, some new reading material, and a few more familiar faces.

I don't expect this will be a huge event, but would probably need to cap at 20 people given the size of my apartment, so please RSVP if you are coming and what you will bring in terms of food/beverage.
RSVP'd Yes: 4 (4 members and No guests)
  • Kristanez - Gingersnaps. With brown sugar and molasses from my secret cache.
  • x-bow - The food I'll bring is to be defined. Would you suggest something (interesting)?
  • Belgianmum - Will be bringing home made savoury dip and crackers.
  • poshkiwi - I would like to attend.
RSVP'd Maybe: 1 (1 members and No guests) RSVP'd No: 2
  • Kamarate - Fantastic idea - shame I don't finish work until 20:30 (then by the time I get up to yours it would be time to leave!). Definitely another time, though.
  • Ma_Anne
RSVP sign-ups for this event are now closed.

Mondays are the easiest days for me too. This Monday may be pushing it since I have the other swap to go to in the evening.

I can host but I'm not close to the station I'm afraid... I don't mind going to Neuchatel or Geneva (I can drive or take the train depending on what's easier)

I don't mind hosting and we have plenty of space but I'm not close to the station either. I could pick people up from the station if they came by train.

On the other hand Lausanne is between Neuchatel and Geneva so maybe that would be the better option.

Both the 26th and 2nd are ok for me at the moment.

The 2nd is better for me.

Gata, I can easily pick you up at the station!

Otherwise, we have visitors parking spaces, and 5min away from bus stop. Kids and dogs are welcome too

2 nd is perfect for me too. So is Melusine going to host in Lausanne? I can pick Gata up from the station on my way.
We should probably set up our own thread for this event rather than hijacking this one. Do either of you know how to set one up? ( assuming we're making it an event and not just a cosy chat and book swap for the 3 of us.)

I would love to come Kristianz but I might work late and don't have time to make anything... I would love to come to the next one, maybe on a Tuesday night? Mondays are bad for me.

Anyone else sitting on the fence still? Feeling shy? Nervous that we all know each other already ? We don't. Come hang out - it'll be fun.
