Ski Jaunt Slovenia

Have been in contact with a couple of guys I know in Slovenia, regards organising some ski / board based fun for a few people in either January or February.

Resort of Bled, access to more than 63 ski runs in the Bohinj Ski Area (Julian Alps). Note all tastes & standards are catered for, pretty much guaranteed 50cm + of freshish snow.

Free transfer (40 mins) from Brnik Airport (Ljubljana) to hotel.

Hotel circa €30-€32 per night, half board.

Ski & Boot Hire, approx €60 for the week, pass around €60 also.

Am looking to guage numbers of people genuinely interested, also when would be most ideal. My gambit is 4-5 days & sometime in the first two weeks of February.

Terry, get recruiting.

Re: Ski Jaunt Slovenia

It is close to Ljubljana and it means very crowded during weekends.

Slovenians love to go to Austria for skiing.

Re: Ski Jaunt Slovenia

Sounds like it could be fun.

What does a lift ticket cost? How high is the resort?

In that case I am in as well. I just need a ski instructor.

Can not ski... which will change soon...

Lucas, who does ski & board hire, can sort us out with English speaking lessons for all abilities.

Re: Ski Jaunt Slovenia

If Lucas is Slovenian - I would like to talk to him... if that is not sensitive for your relation with him.

Othervise, more/less everything is fine with me.

How much would cost the whole package?

Hi Billie, you can if you like, PM me & I can ship the details.

Package is dependant on numbers, personal hire requirements & lessons for those that need them.

I'm looking to get some firm idea of numbers before I go down the road of negotiating the hotel rate & ski hire. Haven't loked into flights yet.

Now if you are volunteering to play Samantha .... game on ...
