City/Town: Auvernier, NE
Event Type: Other
Meeting Point: Auvernier Beach, NE

Come hang out and enjoy the sunshine this friday at my favourite beach (Auvernier). There is a diving dock, showers, plenty of shady grassy areas, a kiosk and public washrooms nearby.

Bring lunch/snacks, water, blanket, your bathing suit and towel, and sunscreen. I'll bring a frisbee too for those who have a hard time just soaking up the sunshine. Kids are welcome and I hope to meet some of the newbies in the area! If there are a lot of people, I'll make sure to have an EF sign so we can find each other.

If you come by car there is paid parking right beside the lake, or you can take the Boudry Tram from Neuchatel.
RSVP'd Yes: 9 (4 members and 5 guests) RSVP'd No: 2
RSVP sign-ups for this event are now closed.

Re: Romandie Day at the Lake

Could I get a lift with anyone? I was thinking to go 10 minutes early to choose a spot and get the EF sign out for some of our newbies.

Also, forecast is for 30 degrees, so please bring your sunscreen, water, hat etc. Don't want anyone getting heat stroke.

We can give you a ride. I'll pick you up at around 11.30 if that's ok for you.

Re: Romandie Day at the Lake

Hmmm... think I'll have to change my RSVP to "no" given the amount of stuff I have to do tomorrow afternoon. What a shame! Have a nice time everyone, and see you on the 8th.

Boooooo! I haven't seen you forever (though I know it's not good to have too much on your plate). Hope to see you sometime soon.

Aghh loved it! Can remember it as it was yesterday when I got a chance to do a few things for 'moi' again when our daughters were little, thanks to Auntie Betty our next door neighbour. A repeat for next week then

Re: Romandie Day at the Lake

It was a very enjoyable day indeed. Looking forward to the next one. It was quite hard to tear my boy away from his new 'girlfriend' and he moaned the whole way home because he'd wanted to stay longer.

No need for an invite just come along. There is a new thread for the day at the lake number 2.
