Re: Anyone interested in a visit to CERN

great idea!
how kid-friendly do you think it would be?

do you know if they have a specific tour for young visitors? I have found a section on their website for kids, but no mention of specific tours for children.

Re: Anyone interested in a visit to CERN

We visited CERN a couple of years ago, but sadly, they weren't offering tours at the time. We did visit their Microcosm and Universe of Particles exhibits, though, which were very cool.

I was thinking that CERN wasn't offering tours anymore, but if you or anyone does take a tour, I would love if you shared your experiences.

P.S. Here are a couple photos we took inside the exhibits:

I would like to visit the European centre for nuclear research (CERN) near Geneva.
They do guided tours in English for groups and it is free.

You have always so great ideas, Basher!
(or you have a good sense of only posting the good ones here)
I would like to go + my daughter. Really just to have her something to post on FB.

Re: Anyone interested in a visit to CERN

The event is on the 2013 events page.
The date shown is the only one available after that it is a long wait.
Unfortunatel as I am working in the week - it had to be Saturday . . sorry about that.
Although the booking is for 20, I am told we can take more . . . so keep registering if you are interested.
