Hi all!
So, as the weather is rainy and cold, I wondered if anyone fancied tea and scones chez moi, FRIDAY 14th?

I have yorkshire tea and a wide selection of tisanes and ofcourse some fresh coffee!

Mummys and children are welcome of course, aswell as all others!

Very last minute, as usually Fridays are mine and my daughters day out, but it's so cold, I want to drink tea and be cosy!

If anyone is interested send me a PM and I'll send you my address!

I'm located not far from La ChauxdeFonds.

Coincidently I'm going there this Saturday as part of "Hello Switzerlands" Jura Discovery trip

http://www.helloswitzerland.ch/links/Discover_Jura.pdf

Can you recommend any nearby places for picnic, which has great views?

Hey, why not...? Someone else is coming at about 11, so it'll be lunchtime then anyway. Maybe just picnic type things! Will send u pm!

Hi Kashim , I don't really know that end of Jura, so can't really help. But St Ursanne is a nice village to see - have a lovely day!

Plenty of spruce and birch around here - but baobabs? No chance (as much as I love them). Sorry Sapin, won't make it- been teaching and now going mushroom hunting - as my neighbour got a huge basketful yesterday and day before - the hunter gatherer in me is too strong Have fun.

I'm still locked in my house!!!

The door knob came off the front door last night. I can't open the front door. Come and save me!!!

I hope you had a lovely time.

Did you get anything? How exciting, we have a couple of bolet and done chanterelles in the kitchen, but not more!

Re: LAST MINUTE Tea and scones in JURA!

LOL. Yes thanks. DH came home last night and fixed the door. It took him 20 mins. A bit embarrassing really.

I could go out the side door. But since you can't lock it I wasn't very comfortable leaving for more than an hour or so. Realistically, I'm sure no one would have broken come in. It's so strange to me to leave with the door unlocked. I'm sure people do it all the time.
