Educational Farm Tours of Swiss Farms?

Hi there, I am looking to set up a tour of any kind Swiss farm to learn as much as I can about Swiss farming. I didnt know if there were any farmers, or anyone who knew of farm tours, that could help me out?

If so, anyone can feel free to write a response.

Thanks!

Re: Educational Farm Tours of Swiss Farms?

Hi Zuger

we have a (very small) farm but take a look at the Pro Specie Rara website to learn about "Arche" farms. We may apply next year but basically these farms specialise in stocking rare Swiss breeds of animals and plants and have open days and (I think) education programmes.

Is it live-stock or crops?

Re: Educational Farm Tours of Swiss Farms?

We've started in a small way with pro-specie Rara chickens (for eggs only at the mo) They are completely free range and the eggs are just amazing. We also breed horses - first foal due in 3 weeks and are busy planting lots of different fruit to test this season. You're welcome to visit anytime, just PM me
