Not really sure what it's for, TBH, as replies come quite quickly enough for me in normal threads, but it doesn't seem to work on my up-to-date Firefox browser on W10 anyway.

I understand that helpful answers are being provided quick enough but it also makes it painstaking, to weed out the gibberish and useless post. For people like myself, who tend to drop the off comment

OOhh, you play Scrabble? Could you maybe do it with your clothes on? Silly comment, it will be on-line, so I can implement my usual home-office rules (since a few years) of at least keeping my upper half covered if I need to go public (hoping that it is just a conference call thing, without Skype and all that). Forgot to mention that I‘m apparently in a risk group

Yes, I love Scrabble.

And yes, I do also play with clothes on.

You do realize the chat's not working for a long time now (think we had a bit too much fun there back in them days.

I received very vague if any at all answers when I asked about why it's down).

So if you're in there, how did you do it? I just tried - not working still.

I don't know, It let me in as usual.

I think I got in earlier but wasn't sure if I was in the right place. I think it said "The Lounge" at the top. I left a comment in there that said "testing... testing..."

It seems to use Flash. Adobe Flash.
That's why Safari doesn't load it because I've stopped installing it years ago.

You guys realize this will be EOL in a couple of months?

Support will be removed in most mainstream browsers a while before that.

It's also one of the most notorious infection vectors of PCs for malware and viruses - as such, using it to chat over a virus-induced lockdown is very appropriate, I give you that.
