Summer is a lie, I'm not sure where in the world you can find one. Good luck!

It might be a lie. I returned 2 weeks ago from a place where 40°C is normal between March and November. So, a hot day is not exactly summer

In my life I've seen 36° C on one Christmas, and on other Christmas, -4°C, freezing rain and power outage due to cables and posts falling to the ground. Weather is a variable thingy.

Re: EF Midweek drinks - Superduperspreader Mk.II

Not sure if I can make it, so would be unfair for me to vote, but safe to say Aarau on a Thursday evening will be a no go for me.

Good idea to keep it running though. Thanks for taking the initiative.

Aargau sounds wild. You guys better stay in Zurich then.

Re: EF Midweek drinks - Superduperspreader Mk.II

There's the pub closest to the train station (penny farthing). No reservations, but I don't think it will be crowded on a THURSDAY. First round on me

We need to think about the time. You mentioned last time around 18h00 or later, right?

I could try be there for 18:30, I'm the other side of Zürich so it'll take a bit of time considering I'm out of work around 1730 ish.

It doesn't mater for me. 18:30 seems fine, depending on train connection from Olten.
As a non native speaker without much speaking/listening practice lately I am honestly a bit concerned. Any strong (northern) accents I should prepare for ?
On paper I am at C2, a strong glaswegian accent or something similar will still be difficult for me.

I'll try my best to be understood.
I'm not sure it's the accent I think it's the speed...

Texas Spanglish accent here with grammar mistakes absorbed from German speakers. At least I articulate more or less well and beers make people louder

We will test your accent, how about that. Just get a couple of speed gears ready.

I might make it for a little bit, not sure, though, time wise. Is it all genders? Where is FD when I need her...I wonder what her accent is like.

Re: EF Midweek drinks - Superduperspreader Mk.II

Hi all, I've added an event to coincide with the wild Aarau somehow beating up Zürich.

Hopefully the RSVP's should let us know how aggressively we'll need to steal/share tables.
