Ok, lets get into shape for the summer.
This session is for begginers and recently new runners/ joggers, it will be a steady start to get you intrested in running along the river and you can ask any questions you like. You can meet similar people and hopefully motivate each other to get fit together.

Hi All
Welcome to springtime. Well this is the week where you all can change something about your lives for the positive. I look forward to meeting you all on Thursday.

One big tip, think as many positive thoughts through-out this week. Think of the goals you will achieve by starting with this group and the new friends you will meet and if you need to use a thought to help keep you focused on your goals say to yourself
I can do it and I will do it !

Re: Beginners and just starting running group

It sounds like a really great idea of getting into shape and improving a stamina for other sports just before spring/summer season starts soon. I would like to join, but unfortunately given my current location it is less likely that I will make it all the way up to Basel in my Nike's running shoes.
Keep up the good workout though

Re: Beginners and just starting running group

Hi Guys

Also been offered the rental of some great shower facilities and changing rooms and a bar area for upstairs after the run if you are interested for a quick chat.
They are right where we will meet under the wettsteinbruke ( Munster side ) and the car parking around there after 6pm is normally free.

It will cost 500chf for 6 months, approx 2 / 3 chf per person per week.

Would this interest you all?

Re: Beginners and just starting running group

Hi, probably way off topic, but does anyone practice parkour in this forum?

Is it illegal in switzerland maybe? (given the Swiss nature to obey the law, specially gravity)

Hi

Abit off the mark here with this, but I do know In Basel alot of the kids do parkour around Basel. It would be best to go to one of the Skate parks, there is a good one over in Weil en Rhine and ask the locals.

Re: Beginners and just starting running group

Hi All

For this week only we cannot use the shower facilities, but from next Thursady we will have full use, plus the bar area upstairs.
There will be a small charge to cover the rental cost of the shower and bar area of 15 chf per month.

THANKS

Running Man
