Have just moved from London to Zurich but havent had much time to explore the city and dont know that many people here. Thought I might do a bit of sightseeing on the weekend, there seems to be quite a few new people who've also just arrived so maybe we can make a little group and explore together.

Am flexible and happy to meet either Saturday or Sunday, maybe in the afternoon? I'll have to do a bit of work on one of the days (boohoo to being PhD student) but would love to meet up with new people and have fun.

I have also moved recently to Switzerland. I live in Winterthurs sourrounding so very close to Zurich, but I haven't been in Zurich yet. I'm very short time here and I didn't make yet to much friends with whom I could go to visit the city. Alone it's not so fun, but anyway I was planning to finally go there next weekend (I mean not this one but 18-20. 09), so if it suits you we could meet. Are you interested in seeing some particular places in Zurich or just hanging arround?

sure - I might do some of the sightseeing this weekend - but should be around next weekend as well - just drop me a line about when you are thinking of coming in Zurich. Am sure there will be lots of places I wont see in one afternoon. Am always happy to hang out and see the sights.

Your best bet is to go to the Social events forum and start a new thread, that way people can RSVP. I'm sure you'll get a good turnout.

I'm qiute flexible. I have Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays free from work, and as far now any plans for the following weekend. You can suggest the day and the hour but I see that there are more people that want to meet up, so maybe let's see how it goes, probably even more will show up then we can fix the date with others.

Well, I don't have an exact plan what I want to do in Zurich, but I go there for the first time so I would like just to see the town, visit some interesting places, maybe some museums and in the evening maybe have a drink in some bar. How about you? Do you have something particular in mind?

my work schedule is taking a heavy toll, but the next 'food of the world' shopping tour will be 31st October. 10am-12noon, starting at end of platform 14 at the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station).

On our tour we cover the Asian, Thai, Mexican, Turkish and Indian Supermarkets/Grocery stores...

I can also do a shopping tour on a Thursday morning or afternoon by special request...

I am also new in Zurich and would love to meet some people and go exploring and/or for a drink. I am moving to my new flat next weekend but can try to make some time and am also around the weekend after.

I'm also up for coffee/drinks/exploring this weekend. I'm pretty new in Zurich and have only explored the most basic of places. I live in Affoltern, so it's not a problem for me to go to the HB area.

I should also mention, in case you are unaware, that we hold bi-weekly drinks nights, to welcome the new and meet up with the old. Next one is tomorrow:
