You said that we wanted to try natural light portraiture so here is your chance.

Hopefully it will be sunny and we can wander down the lake to one of the parks.

If you would like to bring one guest then that is fine as long as they understand that they will be expected to model

Would there be another "portrait meet" any time soon? Really wish I could join but can't make the plane to take off 3 hours earlier...

Re: Zurich Photoclub - Outdoor Portraits

Hi Tatianka (and everyone )

We will meet at http://www.corazon.ch/ which is in the Niederdorf part of town. Although the wbsite says that it is currently under construction it does have pictures and a map

Here is the Google map http://maps.google.com/maps?oe=&ie=U...1&z=16&iwloc=A

We need to meet promptly at 14:00 because it will get dark early so we won't wait much past 14:15. There will be more details about exactly where we will be going when we know how nice the weather will be.

Thanks.

Re: Zurich Photoclub - Outdoor Portraits

Thanks for details! I will be there, may be even with a guest.

I have an idea! There is a free HUG compain in Zurich at this time. Do you think it would be interesting experience for an outdoor spontaneous potrait? It could be only part of our session.

In any case, see you on Sunday.

Re: Zurich Photoclub - Outdoor Portraits

If it's the same free HUG campaign as the did on Trafalger Square in London, it's gonna be worth a few pics, usually very funny and very dynamic and I'm sure the people won't mind the photographers as they normally do.

Do you know where it's going to be?

Yes it will be this weekend. I did a bit of digging on the web and came up with this information:

Re: Zurich Photoclub - Outdoor Portraits

the light will be perfect for this type of photography. Even if it rains you can get some good shots. Take a look at the flickr group for ideas. www.flickr.com zurich photoclub.

Re: Zurich Photoclub - Outdoor Portraits

Thanks for that Karl and Nigel!! It was lots of fun, despite the rain.

As promised to one or two people today, here is the link to the Zurichphotoclub group on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/groups/1094114@N23/

To join, just use the Flickr "Join group" link or PM Karlnmik or Bananahead. You need to have attended at least one photoclub meetup. (Did I get that right guys?)

Victor
