Who wants to fondle some felle with me? [Yarn/Fiber Outing]

I've been wanting to visit this place for a while now, and as winter approaches I have an excuse (or so I tell myself) given the expected end-of-year knitting...

It's in Hutwil, which appears to be 1hour from most places (and by 'most' places I mean Zurich, Basel, Bern and Luzern).

If you're not so craftily inclined, they also sell sheep- and cow-skins, clothing, silk fabric for dyeing, and some pretty fabulous solid wood handcrafted beds. You could even make your own felted gnomes for that secret miniature Swiss garden you keep in your attic.

Anyhoo, if there's enough interest we could get our schedules straight and make it an outing. I would probably have to opt for a Saturday as they are only open until 18.00 on the weekdays and I can't really justify a day off for this.

Would love to, I'm a novice knitter but am determined to knock out at least a scarf this winter! I'd be coming from Basel way

Oi! Behave yourself or we'll leave you at the Market in the Naughty Boy's Corner with the other Town Miscreants.

We'd love to have ya. Just be careful about all the pretty shiny things. It's easy to pick up a bad yarn habit.

I can't quite put my finger on it, but this just doesn't sit comfortably in the mind's eye.

Not a knitter - but the gnomes actually seem kind of cool

I'm pretty sure if you did put your finger on it you'd be even less comfortable.

Oh my goodness - those things are SCARY. They ought to frighten DB into behaving on the yarn outing!
