I'm thinking about organising gay drinks in Zurich in the next month or so.

This would be for gay members to meet other gay members (though anyone is welcome).

I think it would be a great way to meet some more people and expand our social circle.

First I wanted to get some idea if this would be of interest to a few members?

I loved the title of the thread and I'd join...

Not that I get to go out much, but I wouldn't go to a "gay drinks night".

I would go to an "EF drinks night" if I am able to, though.

What do you mean, is it the drinks or the drinkers that are gay?

I have been to The George yes ! I lived in Dublin for ten years. Are you Irish Mr Joey?

Nope, plastic paddy as they call it, lived there for 7 years and left the sinking ship in May 2010.

I am a straight guy with a girlfriend but went into the George with a gay collegue, the guy just came out of his wardrobe so to speak and was nervous, so we all supported him and a good few people from our office ( mixed crowd) took him down to the George.

He had the best night of his life, and no one bothered us,great music and coctails all evening

So to stick with the topic, if there is one in Basel, i wouldn't mind going to meet new expats.

He did not come back here after his attempt. He must have discovered the gay forums and forgot all about straight EF wrestling fans. One can not blame him for that.
