Migros metabolic balance

Hi fellow fit EF-ers

Lately I've been hearing that this migros metabolic progrM and people are becoming fit in a few months time. Has anyone of you tried it or know someone who did? What's your experience.

Thanks and cheers

Re: Migros metabolic balance

I've heard from a friend that she felt great and she lost some weight but put it back on again.

I've signed up for it and will see what they say. I've been training my socks off and got a lot fitter but I'm always hungry I certainly won't be buying their cookbooks from Migros since they are much cheaper elsewhere.

Anyone else had any experience of it?

Call me an American Consumer but I'd be awfully suspicious about a diet and exercise program being pushed by a large grocery store..... "Oh, a proper diet can only be achieved by the addition of these rare (and expensive) kajunja berries, which only WE have!" No, I haven't seen this diet...I'm just naturally suspicious.

Migros is in the thread title but it isn't exclusive to them.

Re: Migros metabolic balance

My wife did it, lost some weight and didn't put it back on, and the diet is fairly easy to live with for 1 person. We know a couple who fell for it, and had different things they could and couldn't eat so it made their meals a right PITA. The service is crap at the gym in Zug to, she had all the gushy we'll do this, revue that, monitor the next BEFORE she signed up... and they only kept the initial meeting, which the dame was late for as she was outside having a fag and had forgotten. I can't remember the price but it was over CHF 800 iirc for effectively a blood test, a diet sheet and lots of wasted time going to appointments they made and never showed for.

You could enrol with WW online and get the same results (actually friends did and had better results than my wife) and have a well subsidised weekend in Milan for CHF800.
