Training after the flu - what to do...?

I was in great shape just prior to dec 25th. Had been doing my 3x gym workout per week (cardio , weights), just felt really fit and ready for the new upcoming MTB season.

Since the 25th I've been down w/ the flu. Just 2-3 days of the nasty stuff, but still feel weak, I'm perspiring at night and not sleeping really well at all...still got residual headache, bla bla.

Anyhoo. After all *that* cr@p will have hopefully gone away, how should I resume my workout regime?.... I'm looking to get back my cardio condition back into shape as fast as possible, but without doing any collateral damage whatsoever, as I will have a new bike waiting for me in March and I want to be out there ripping ASAP
