Curves Women only Gym in Zurich - any info?

Good afternoon everyone

Firstly I am steering well away from the previous posts on this subject, which make entertaining reading!

I have been looking at joining the Curves Gym (the women only circuit training gym) in Zurich ( http://www.curves-zuerich.ch/ ) as I have friends in both the UK and US who recommend it.

I just wondered if anyone had any info on the one in Zurich, what's it like, is it busy, price etc... also, my German is OK but I would probably need an intro to the gym in English if that were possible.

Hopefully someone can illuminate me and give me a shove in the right direct of my new years fitness resolution!

Cheers

Never been there myself but I've seen it advertised - along with several similar enterprises, e.g. Frauen-Fit. I expect that Curves, being a US import, probably caters more for the expat/jetsetter market and may be more expensive than some of the local franchises for that reason.

You'd think any of them would offer a free tour/consultation, which sounds like it would answer most of your questions...

Yes, I remember that well!
I think MathNut is probably right about high-end as they say nothing about cost at all. I'm a bit surprised they have no link in English though. Sorry cannot help with Info - if it doesn't have a price on it, it is too expensive for me!

Saw another one of these women's gyms advertised on the tram this morning:
http://www.lady-fit.ch/

Apparently they have some sort of New Year special on at the moment - I don't see anything about it on their website though so you'd probably have to call and ask. Special deals for students and employees of CS, Accenture and one or two other places.
