Tobogganing or skiing from Zurich??

We just moved to Zurich, we have friends coming to visit from Victoria BC (Canada) where can we take them for a day of fun in the snow, from Zurich?

All the ski resorts in Switzerland take at least 6 hours to reach from Zurich because of very poor transport connections.

Many Goldcoast residents are asking for the Alps to be flattened south of Zurich so they have better views - so make that journey before it is too late
