Climbing, Traditional Style

Can anyone recommend some stellar traditional climbing routes in Switzerland?

Can't wait to hear about them...

Re: Climbing, Traditional Style

I can't really recommend anything as I am new in the country, but I have looked a bit around for trad climbing myself so here is a few pointers.

The area "eldorado" seems promising and more must exist, but I have found only one guide book focusing on long trad routes ("Keep wild climbs") and in general they seem to have bolted most climbing.

Specialised sites such as kletterportal.ch might be a good place to ask.

And let me know if you need a trad-climbing partner.

Trad climbing around here is found in the Alps. I.e. in mtn. boot terrain. You'll find the crags around these parts pretty well bolted. Euros for the most part don't see the point. Can't say really disagree, as there is very little granite out there with nice crack systems to protect in. Bolts in limestone just make more sense.
