Beginners Ski lesson Monday 14th Feb 2011?

Anyone like to learn to ski with me this Monday? I do realise it's short notice!

I can't really afford a private lesson right now, and since I'm off work Monday it seems like a good opportunity to finally get to learn.

I'm planning on going to Flumersberg.

Methods of transport to Flumserberg.

Train:
32.60 return ( with halb-tax), includes ski-lift. Zh Hbf to Ziegelbrucke, change and get Regionalbahn to Unterterzen.

Equipment and price.
The prices of renting equipment for ski-ing: http://212.254.197.221:81/wb/pages/home/preisliste.php
Add whats required in the equipment area to 55chf, for a whole day lesson per person.

Let me know if you can make it!

Skiing is booked at Flumersberg for 10am - for 4 hours.

If this suits any beginners who want to come, then let me know.

Re: Beginners Ski lesson Monday 14th Feb 2011?

Let me try this again!! I just went there today to check it out. It is absolutely beautiful. The S2 train I was on did not go all the way to Unterterzen , I had to get of at Zeigelbrücke then take a Regional train the other 3 stops to Unterterzen. Then I took the cable car up to the ski area at Flumserberg. I am so envious of your trip tomorrow. What a fanatasic place to learn how to ski.

I stopped and had a beer at the "Sport Hotel Knobleboden" the 1st level stop on the cable car. Very reasonable rates for folks who want a "get a way weekend skiiing or snowboarding .. 65sFR a night ( 3 night minimum and they have a hot tub )

Have fun tomorrow. If you get a chance can you let me know what is a reasonable price to pay for ski rentals and where you recommend to go for ski rentals? Thanks... bring your sunglasses ( I wish I was not going to a job thing tomorrow in Pavia ... or I would be all over this)

Thanks Ciao
Lauren
