Where to go sledging this weekend

Hi,

Any recommendations on the closest place to Zurich that would be good for a sledging trip ?

Obviously there are other threads on this subject but what I don't know is which ones currently have snow as it is for this weekend.

Flumserberg was my first thought but is there anywhere else that is closer...

How about Hoch-Stuckli?

It's easy to get to with the train from Zurich, changing at Waedenswil and then a short post-bus ride from Biberbrugg.

Actually, it's probably not closer in travel time.

Car or Train?

Melchsee Frutt is around 1 1/2 hours by car and (allegedly) has the longest run in Central Switzerland. They had fresh snow this week, and more to come I think.

How about Rigi? I went sledging there two weeks ago when the skiing was closed but the sledging runs were still open and although the snow was a horrible brown colour the runs were good. They have had recent snow and a big dump due today! Should be good. Trains go to Goldau then get the Rigi Bahn from there.

Most common place for sledging is the cricket ... at least for Australians.
