Few days in Zurich snowboarding advice

Hello,

I am going to Zurich for work (plant in Birr). I will have one or two days for snowboarding and looking to get the most out of them.

I will be driving from Zurich with a rental car.

I would like to hire a guide for the day unless the freeride is accessible.

Engelberg? Laax? The rest seems too far...
very hard to find guides over there, many sites in german. any recommendations?

Also, any suggestions for what to see in Zurich, where to eat? Unfortunately, not enough time to see much, but company pays so I take what I can!

Regards,

Re: Few days in Zurich snowboarding advice

To maximize a one day trip, I would get a guide. There is a lot of easily accessible freeride terrain available in Engelberg or Andermatt. If you don't get a guide be careful if you just follow tracks though as you might be following a speedflyer.

I have used Roger Christen from the following a few times and can recommend him:

These guys are also good:
