Sound's damned cheap, my buddy paid CHF 60,000 for his!

It is nice though, heading over to his place after work tomorrow to sip on some Mai Tais while enjoying the jacuzzi.

It will help to expand your posts to more than Twitteresque short comments; people may a) understand what you're trying to communicate b) realise you're being serious c) bother to give more than a 40 character answer.

Punctuation is also allowed

Re: Is 60chf for an afternoon in a hot pool and jacuzzi good value?

Sounds a bit steep.

Up this part of Switzerland, we have things like:

Migros Fitness park (big one in Regensdorf with pool, mineral hot pool with massage jets at different heights where you move round every xxx seconds, sauna steam.......)

Zurzach thermal baths - http://www.thermalbad.ch/thermalbad/prei.htm

Baden Thermal baths - http://www.thermalbaden.ch/

Alpemare - http://www.alpamare.ch/

Swiss Holiday park (nr Schweiz) - http://www.swissholidaypark.ch/index...&page=0&lang=E

All of which would cost a fraction of that price.

Edit: not sure if I spelt all the places etc.. correctly. Maybe I can try and add some links later with prices...

Is this Thermal baths, a hotel, a spa or someones house? Only you know your budget and what you like; I might say it's a deal and others might say "omg!".

Sounds a bit steep.
depends what you're into.
like szhjusfhau(??) said.
but basically, like many things here, you pay for what you get.

Our local sauna charges 26chf, to use the place a long as you like. And i like!

The hamam - yeah, someones mentioned that.. for me thats a bit steep, unless you go with good friends, and have a massage or go play in the mud at the end. Then its special.

Alpemare? Love it! Could spend all weekend there.

Again - you pay for what you get.

Search for Thermal Bath, there is a thread here somewhere
Thermal Bath & Spa Recommendation

Lavey is very good about Fr 35 for 4 hours

Les Bains de Lavey
L'eau thermale la plus chaude de Suisse. Deux bassins extérieurs
et un bassin intérieur avec une température de 32° à 36°.

Yverdon is good

Das wärmste
Thermalwasser der Schweiz. Grosse Becken, diverse Saunen, Dampfbäder,
Hammam.

From the description it sounded steep as there are many places around here where it's half that price or less. But I agree without knowing what you get for 60chf one can't give a complete answer. That's why I posted some things so the org poster has something to compare against.....

We did the "Irish bath ritual" and massage there a few weeks ago, the bath for CHF55 was for me a bit expensive but very nice and with a massage (25min) about CHF110 total was too much. I don't recommend the massage, I asked for a hard massage but it was more of a rubdown with oil and after 2hrs of whirlpools with jets to blast every part of your body 10 different ways - you don't need a massage!! The rooftop bath and whirlpool (CHF32) was a great place to be on a cold, gloomy winters afternoon in Zürich but take a towel, CHF4 rental for 1 teatowel!! is rude and you need a big towel to keep warm between the roof and showers.
Eintritt „Irisch-Römisches“ Spa-Ritual
Im Eintritt ist neben dem Besuch des“ Irisch-Römischen“ Spa-Rituals Folgendes inbegriffen: Thermalbad-Eintritt, Bademantel, Tuch, Peeling zum gegenseitigen Verwöhnen, Body-Lotion, Tee und „Aqui“ Mineralwasser.
Fr. 55.–
