Evening MTB trails around oerlikon?

Hi all,
Now clocks are 4ward, its on after work

Just trying to scope some decents routes to hit up around oerlikon when I dont have time for Uetliberg..
Ive found some sweet built singletrack on Zuriberg coming out near the Uinversity...is there any more like this in other areas of Zuriberg (i know the pumptrack), and other woods around this area?
Flowing technical is my thing...

Going to start exploring!

Paging Eire.......

There are some decent trails in and around the pump track. But in all reality lots more to explore!

Dolder trail? Not near Oerlikon but it isn't too far from the Zoo trails.

Join our Tuesday evening rides starting May 3rd, you'll never know what you might find!

Re: Evening MTB trails around oerlikon?

There's a great track in Oerlikon i go running on - No idea what the name is but i will try to describe it....

Between the Credit Suisse building with the major construction and the Hallenstadion there's a straight road called Andreasstrasse (heading east initially) leading out to a small river which flows for miles out northwards towards the airport in one direction and Dubendorf in the other...can bike or run down both sides of the river....highly recommended...

Try not to knock me over if you see me huffing and puffing along it.

Hi

My suggestion is „Käferberg“ where you’ll find very good running trails. Why don’t you open up the google map Switzerland and then write "Zürich Käferberg”. I’ve just tried this out and it works. It will take you about 10 - 15 minuntes to get there (jogging) from Oerlikon (depends where you live). I think it’s best to “enter” the “Käferberg” from the side “Friedhof Nordheim”. Everybody loves the trails up there! Enjoy!

I've got a 2010 specialized P2 which I'll sell. It is literally as new. Never been ridden anywhere except in the car park. The bike was somewhere in the region of 1600CHF new... and even looking for 2010 ones online in the states I was still seeing prices of over $1000 for them.

I'm open to offers.
