Klettersteig / Via Ferrata

Ok, as we seem to be having mental weather just now (up to 28 degrees in April ! )
I was wondering if anyone knows if any of the Klettersteigs are opening early?

I have phoned a couple but they are for sure shut due to there still being snow at higher altitudes.

Allmenalp is shut I know.

ANY info would be appreciated ?

Re: Klettersteig / Via Ferrata

the low elevation ones in the Aravis or jura will be fine but high ones won't open amazingly early, even in a low snow year there will be mud and rockfall to settle after the snow has all gone.

You could try the one in Champery, thats low but in a mountain setting

The website says that they open in MAY but it would be best to phone the tourist office to confirm the exact day. Phone number is on this webpage.

Ok, thanks folks. tomorrow is now organised

I know it's way early in the year but with the weather being so nice and the snow gone up there it looks like it's going to be fun.

Enjoy
