Hi all,

I'm new to Geneva having recently moved from a few years living in Singapore. I'm a regular roadie but cycling in the flatlands of Singapore has me a bit nervous about joining as established fast riding group in Geneva too soon.

I'm looking for advice on joining up with a good leisure but well-paced group to get my legs in mountain shape. I ride mostly on the weekends but hope to ride every weekend so any suggestions are appreciated.

Welcome to the forum and in Geneva.

look at the social events, pehaps there some stuff on. (even if I don't remember to have seen it)

If not, try glocals. I believe they have this kind of group.

Check the thread Cyclotour 2011: Mass bike ride around Lake Geneva, May 29; most of the posters to it live in the Lamanic arc, so should be able to give you pointers. Do not worry if you do not get much response over the weekend; outdorrs people are not likely to be at their computers on a weekend (I am about to go out and hike right now ).
