wanted: advice and bike for rent or to buy

Hi there,

I am looking for a bike which I can use for a fun triathlon. A mountain bike with 'slicks' would work perfectly well. I need to start practicing in June. If you have one that is just standing around and I could rent it for 2 months of have one you want to sell, please let me know.
Any advice wellcome.
