Similar to a thread earlier today, I have been looking at buying a bike in UK v's CH. The price difference in UK wins out if the supplier will ship of course.

I'm looking for a Scott Scale 70. can anyone comment on it? Also, anyone know a shop in / near zurich that I can test it?

There is a dealer locater on the Scott website. There are loads of them in Switzerland.

The Scale 70 is very similar to any other hard tail in the spec level. You could look around and sit on a few other bikes. I'm sure you'll find something in your budget with similar fittings.

Backyard bikes near Enge station sell Scott bikes. They have several models available for testing. I found the guys there very helpful.
