Re: wild campng in CH???

No idea about the exact letter of the law- but I'd say it depends where. If you aim for a famous tourist spot, you might not get away with it. In my neck of the woods, the Jura, you could camp more or less anywhere no prob and go wild.

Sharing the woods with a few lynx, the odd wolf and lots of wild board would add to the excitement, lol.

I think it normally is prohibited; then again I doubt that they will hunt for illegal campers on the mountains. hmm, though, it is switzerland, they might

http://www.isyours.com/e/guide/basics/camping.html

"Camping rough, outside authorized sites, is formally prohibited by law, and you may well find yourself with a fine or worse if you try it in populated or cultivated areas, but in the mountain wilds – as long as you take care to clean up properly after yourself – it’s hard to envisage how anyone could complain. Discretion and environmental respect are everything."

Given that the OP has 500 posts, I would have thought that they would know how to use the search function before posting a thread. If you type "Wild camping" into the search box, it immediately returns the thread on this topic that should answer all your questions, see here: Wild camping allowed?.
