Learning to Glide (through English)

Hi,

I'm very interested in learning to Glide, however, since I only recently started to learn German, I would need an instructor who can teach in English. Would anybody be able to suggest gliding clubs that can offer such opportunities? I'm based in Zurich myself so anywhere not too far would be ideal.

Many thanks in advance for any advice.

You need to approach the local clubs. I think they will ask you to buy a share in a club glider before you can get any instruction.

I've never, ever heard of that kind of stipulation.

Here's a local club.

Most seem to require you to do some duties at the club, in addition to the cost of the instruction.

Most pilots speak English!
