X-Terra Switzerland

Hi!

Is there anybody doing the X-terra switzerland who wants to buddy up for some training before the race? MTB, trailrunning, swimming or combos?
Of course you don't have to do the race if you are only interested in training...

Does anybody know a good place for lake swimming where I don't run any risk of getting hit by a boat or a kite-surfer?

I live in Geneva/Ferney. I'm doing my first triathlon and my weakest spot will definitely be the swimming. Otherwise I run 10K slightly below 40 but pace and skill can differ (one of us just has to do a tougher warm-up...

All the best/Anders

Re: X-Terra Switzerland

Not doing the Xterra, maybe I'll give it a try some time when I have the funds for a bike, wetsuit and all the goodies
I did my first triathlon in Nyon on Sunday (without wetsuit and on a really old road bike).
I trained for swimming at Nyon Colovray, there is a pool and the lake is great to train in with lifesavers from 1pm. La Plage in Nyon is also very nice if you don't want to pay for entrance.
That's all the advice I can give. Will definetly be a spectator on 10 September in Prangins. Good luck with training and ENJOY!
