Sports facilities/clubs for ex-students

I thought some of you might be interested in this. Apparently you can use the sports facilities of the ASVZ (the "Akademischer Sportverband Zürich") if you are a student at the ETH, the University of Zürich, alumni of those organisations or (and this is probably the interesting bit for EFers) "foreign universities". Alumni have to pay (300-500Fr/year), but that is only about half the price of a gym membership around Zurich. "Partners" are also allowed to become members.

A (less than complete) English version of the info can be found at http://portal.asvz.ethz.ch/english/Seiten/default.aspx

Just be aware that it is so packed at times that you will not find locker space. Especially over lunch and between five and eight, you have to queue for up to twenty minutes for the cardio equipment, at least in the central gym at Polyterrasse this is the case.
