They usually offer a package of renting everything for the season. Everything is new, but maybe last years model. If the boots or skis don't suit you, you can change them free of charge.

That's the one. We found them very helpful when we were attending the Bern ski school back in the day.
Knowing where you live, Stockli at Heimberg is very good too....only skis from their range, but deals are there to be had....especially if you get the Kiwi guy
